Republic of Ireland midfielder Keith Fahey has joined Shamrock Rovers from St Patrick's Athletic on a one-year deal.
The 31-year-old from Tallaght won the FAI Cup at the start of the month in his third spell with the Inchicore club and also played with Birmingham City for four seasons, during which he earned 16 international caps.
Speaking about signing for Rovers, Fahey said: “I’m delighted to be here at Shamrock Rovers. This is my local club and it’ll be great to be playing so close to home.
“It’s good to have the signing done at this early stage. I’m going to go away now and enjoy the break and have a holiday and then I’ll look forward to linking up with the squad here and getting into pre-season and the new campaign ahead.”
