Manchester United captain Gary Neville has denied the Football Association charge of improper conduct relating to his goal celebrations during the 1-0 win over Liverpool.
Neville was accused of inciting the Liverpool supporters following Rio Ferdinand's injury-time winner at Old Trafford eight days ago.
The England full-back has requested a personal hearing which will be scheduled in due course.
Michael Ballack's future at Bayern Munich is in doubt again after the German club said they may offer the one-time Manchester United target a more modest contract.
The Bavarian side hope to sign Cologne striker Lukas Podolski in the summer and Bayern general manager Uli Hoeness says that transfer could be financed by a reduced contract offer to Ballack.
Bayern withdrew their lucrative four-year offer to Ballack before Christmas and although they remain keen to keep the Germany captain, any further talks would be based around new terms.
