O'Callaghan sees red for Ipswich

Former Cork City star George O'Callaghan was sent off in his full debut for new club Ipswich Town today.

Ipswich travelled to Vicarage Road to face Watford in the FA Cup fifth round but O'Callaghan was dismissed in first half-injury time.

The midfielder was shown a straight red by referee Steve Bennett for aiming a kick at Watford's Danny Shittu after the pair clashed near the touchline.

O'Callaghan joined Ipswich in January - where he had been on trial for three months - after losing his place in the Cork side following a well documented falling-out with manager Damien Richardson.
