Sunderland have signed Cork striker Roy O'Donovan for an undisclosed fee.
The Black Cats have pursued the forward, 22 tomorrow, for the last few weeks with Fulham also having been interested in acquiring the Republic of Ireland 'B' international.
However, he has become Roy Keane's eighth summer signing after signing a three-year deal. Keane also revealed he is still hopeful of landing Tottenham striker Mido.
The Egyptian has been told he can leave White Hart Lane and is also attracting interest from the likes of Everton and Middlesbrough.
Keane said: "I am convinced we will have an answer from Mido today. We're hopeful that he will make the right choice and to me the right choice would be to come to Sunderland.
"Things are agreed with Spurs but that is not the issue. The issue is whether the player wants to come and play for Sunderland."
