Bohemians 0 St Patrick's Athletic 0:The visitors extended to six their unbeaten run at Dalymount Park today and made it four now in the new league campaign without defeat, but Liam Buckley and his men will still have headed for home deflated after failing to take all three points from this Dublin derby.

It was a deeply disappointing game with neither side capable of producing much of the passing football the two managers insist they aspire to. St Patrick’s edged the bulk of it, though, and had comfortably enough of the second half to win the game, if only they had been able to carve out some half decent chances.

On what was his league debut, Andy McNulty didn’t have a save of note to make for the home side and the 23 year-old looked confident in the air and off his line whenever he intervened to help out his back four.

That was Bohemians’ strongest department but Karl Moore almost nicked a winner for them a minute from the end of normal time with a spectacular volley that crashed off the underside of the crossbar before bouncing back out without crossing the line.

For the visitors, lone striker Stephen O’Flynn struggled to make an impact on things but he, Christy Fagan and John Russell all might have grabbed a goal at one point or another over the course of the afternoon.
