St. Patrick's Athletic maintained their 100 per cent record at the top of the eircom Premier Division with a 3-0 win over Bray Wanderers at the Carlisle Grounds this evening.
The Inchicore side went ahead in the 24th minute thanks to defender Stephen Paisley before a second-half Mark Quigley brace secured the three points to leave them two ahead of Derry, who beat defending champions Drogheda United 2-0 at the Brandywell.
A Joe Kendrick own-goal gave the Derry the advantage in the 52nd minute before a Marc Farren penalty two minutes later sent the Candystripes into second place.
