Arsenal (1) v Aston Villa (6)

Arsenal will not rush back striker Robin van Persie (thigh) — Nicklas Bendtner is set to partner Emmanuel Adebayor up front following Eduardo's season-ending injury. Midfielder Abou Diaby should return to the squad following three weeks out with calf trouble, while Kolo Toure (knee), Alex Song (knee), Tomas Rosicky (hamstring), Johan Djourou (groin) and Emmanuel Eboue (suspended) miss out.

Olof Mellberg is winning his battle to recover from an ankle injury and is set to replace Craig Gardner at right-back for Villa. Patrik Berger has recovered from a hamstring problem and could be on the bench.

Reading will be without defender Michael Duberry (knee), midfielder Brynjar Gunnarsson (groin) and winger Glen Little (heel).
