Sevilla president Jose Del Nido has denied suggestions that Juande Ramos could leave later in the season to take charge at Chelsea.
Following Jose Mourinho's shock departure from Stamford Bridge, Avram Grant has been placed in charge of the London club, along with former assistant manager Steve Clarke.
Ramos has been linked with a Chelsea move in the future but Del Nido his manager is committed to leading Sevilla.
"All we know is that it is his desire to stay as coach of Sevilla at least until the end of the season because he does not want to leave halfway through," Del Nido explained.
"I do not know anything about the possibility of him leaving for Chelsea."
Ramos has stated his desire to work in England and is said to have been learning the language to prepare himself for a move.
Chelsea have been linked with a move for the former Rayo, Espanyol and Betis coach before when Mourinho's position look untenable last season.
He was also reported to have met representatives from Tottenham Hotspur earlier this season.
The story caused controversy at the London club, but as Martin Jol continues to struggle, speculation remains that Ramos is wanted at White Hart Lane.
