Inverness CT 0-1 Rangers: Substitute Jean-Claude Darcheville was the hero for Rangers as he struck in the 89th minute to see off Inverness and re-establish the Ibrox club's four-point lead over Celtic at the summit of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.
Rangers thought they should have taken the lead 17 minutes earlier when a Charlie Adam goal was controversially ruled out with Daniel Cousin deemed to be standing in an offside position.
Adam then sent a powerful drive crashing off the top of the Inverness crossbar, but there was still time for Darcheville to pounce and secure a hard-fought victory over a spirited Caley Thistle side.
He was was cool in front of goal as he got in behind the Inverness back line to place a low effort past the exposed Michael Fraser in the home goal.
