Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp has reiterated his desire to sign Chelsea winger Shaun Wright-Phillips.
The Pompey boss has already recruited Peter Crouch, Ben Sahar and Glen Little this summer, but he is anxious to bring in more new faces.
Speaking after seeing his Portsmouth side draw their opening pre-season match 1-1 at Exeter, Redknapp admitted he was still trying to bring in Wright-Phillips.
"At the moment we like him, he is a good player but he belongs to Chelsea," he told Sky Sports News. "We have spent some money on Peter Crouch, so the situation is that we have two other options but Shaun Wright-Phillips is a terrific player."
Redknapp is hopeful he can bring in at least two new faces before the start of the Premier League season.
"You're always looking for one or two players to improve your squad," he continued. "I feel we need to improve in one or two areas but every manager says that and I am sure we will get one or two before the start of the season."
Meanwhile, Redknapp has handed a trial to Gambian striker Omar Krumah. The striker, who trained with Southampton's academy last season, played in the draw at Exeter and impressed.
"I was pleased with how OJ played - I thought he did well, we'll see how we go with him," said Redknapp.
American goalkeeper Dominic Cervis came on at half-time to try and press his claims for a contract.
