Cork City boss Damien Richardson is confident has side can make progress in the Champions League qualifiers at the expense of Apollon Limassol.
The eircom League champions beat the Cypriot side 1-0 in the first leg of their first-round qualifier last week but now face a testing return on the Mediterranean island.
Yet Richardson feels his side need to be positive as they look to secure a second-round glamour tie with Red Star Belgrade.
Richardson said: "I am convinced we are the better team and we will prove it again. We won't just sit back and defend here. We will take the game to Apollon and, if we score, then we are in a very strong position to come through the tie."
Cork are without striker John O'Flynn due to an abductor muscle injury but Richardson believes he still has enough firepower up front.
"John will not be able to play a part in the return leg and that's disappointing news for him, for me and the team as a whole," he said. "I am happy with the front two we have in Denis Behan and Neale Fenn and we will go with the same XI.
"It's important that we try to score an away goal and kill the tie off and in Behan, Fenn, Billy Woods and Roy O'Donovan we have potential match-winners."
