Arjen Robben admits he has not been in top gear for Chelsea this season but insists he does not want to leave the champions.
Robben returns to Blackburn today where he broke two bones in a foot last season after a challenge from Rovers' Aaron Mokoena.
Chelsea's Dutch winger was in flying form when he suffered the injury setback in February 2005. But he barely played again last season and has still not recaptured his best form.
Robben, 22, said: "I would have liked to play a more important role this season for the team. During my first year I could easily make the difference in the game, something that I have not been able to do in the past months.
"I didn't have a great start to the season. I had trouble with some injuries. I also believe that other players have managed to prepare and defend themselves more against my way of playing."
Jose Mourinho expects a couple of players to leave during the summer as part of his team's natural evolution but Robben claims any clearout will not involve him.
He told Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad: "I can assure you that that is not true."
Chelsea clinched their second successive Premiership title last weekend and victories in their last two games, at Blackburn and Newcastle, will take them past last season's points haul of 95.
Robben said: "We fully deserve this title. It is in the hands of the rightful owner. We built up a large lead early in the season and we managed to keep it up all the way through."
John Terry, Claude Makelele, Didier Drogba and Michael Essien have not travelled to Blackburn. Terry needed three stitches in a cut just above his ankle after Saturday's win and also twisted his ankle.
He will not play for his club again this season but will be fit for England in the World Cup.
Mourinho said: "Mentally he can forget Chelsea now for a couple of months and start to concentrate on England. He is improving every day and will be ready physically to join the national team on the first day."
