Manchester City boss Sven-Goran Eriksson is not hiding his excitement at rumours the club may look to lure Ronaldinho to Eastlands.
Owner Thaksin Shinawatra is reportedly considering buying the Barcelona forward after his brother and representative, Roberto De Assis, was the guest of club directors at the City of Manchester stadium ahead of Saturday's 2-0 defeat to Chelsea.
The Brazil forward is currently injured and has endured a poor season at the Camp Nou. AC Milan are favourites to secure his signature if he does leave, after club president Silvio Berlusconi confirmed his interest last week.
Chelsea have also had a long-term interest in the two-time World Player of the Year.
"It was the first time I had heard such a thing, so I really hope it is true," said Eriksson today. "We would be able to find a place in our team for him, I can guarantee that.
"I will phone the owners. It was a surprise, but if they want to package Ronaldinho for me I would accept him and be very happy."
And Eriksson joked about signing another high-profile Brazilian when he added: "I would be happy to take Kaka at the same time."
