The 24-year-old has agreed a six-year contract with Madrid and will be presented at the Bernabeu this evening at 9pm local time, with an estimated 80,000 spectators set to be in attendance.
Carlos Diez, Real Madrid’s medical chief, told www.realmadrid.com: “(Ronaldo) is in perfect condition and very eager to start the season as soon as possible.”
Ronaldo, the reigning Fifa World Player of the Year, will be the third new signing presented by Madrid since Florentino Perez returned to the club presidency at the start of June.
