Setanta Cup: Linfield hold top spot in Group Two of the Setanta Cup after they travelled to capital and held Shelbourne to a scoreless draw this evening.

After four games the Blues have six points, one ahead of Derry City - who lost 1-0 away to Glentoran this evening - and Shelbourne. The Glens prop up the foot of the table with four points.

In a lively game Linfield's Paul McAreavey and Shels' Colin Hawkins were both sent-off. Despite most of the pressure coming from the home side, Pat Fenlon's men couldn't make the breakthrough.

In tonight's other game Jamie Reed scored the winner for Glentoran while Sean Hargan was sent off for Derry.
