Eircom League Cup final/ Derry City 0 Shelbourne 0 (Derry win 3-0 on penalties): Derry City picked up their first trophy of the season tonight after beating Shelbourne in a penalty shoot-out in the Eircom League Cup final, despite going down to nine men.
Derry's keeper David Forde was sent off in 84th minute for handling ball outside the area. while Killian Brennan also got his marching orders after a reckless tackle in extra time.
