AC Milan striker Andriy Shevchenko's crunch meeting with club vice-president Adriano Galliani will now take place tomorrow, according to the player.
The 29-year-old had been expected to announce today whether he wanted to leave the club following interest from Chelsea.
After three hours of treatment on his injured knee at Milanello, the Ukraine captain emerged to tell reporters that he had not yet met Galliani, who is in day-to-day control of the club owned by former Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi.
"I cannot say anything yet - first I have to speak to Galliani," said Shevchenko. "I will not meet Galliani today - perhaps tomorrow and maybe in the evening."
Galliani has spent the day in the club's offices in Via Turati in central Milan.
