Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko was recalled to the starting XI for the Carling Cup semi-final second leg against Wycombe at Stamford Bridge.
The Ukraine striker had not scored in 10 appearances — since his strike against Levski Sofia last month — but partnered Didier Drogba in attack as Blues boss Jose Mourinho picked his strongest line-up available.
With the tie poised at 1-1 after the first leg at Adams Park, Mourinho also had Ricardo Carvalho back in the team, while Lassana Diarra also returned.
Skipper John Terry was not in the matchday squad but has returned to full training.
League Two side Wycombe included Jermaine Easter in attack, the Welsh striker who had scored in every round of the competition.
