Transfer round-up: Blackburn are in talks with Tottenham over the transfer of England midfielder David Bentley. The London club have already had one bid rejected.

Hull, meanwhile, have signed defender Anthony Gardner on loan from Tottenham. Gardner joins the Premier League newcomers to improve his prospects of first-team action.
The 27-year-old joined Tottenham from Port Vale in 2000 and has made 144 senior appearances.
Manchester Citymanager Mark Hughes has confirmed his club are in talks to bring Chelsea defender Tal Ben Haim to Eastlands.
Hughes has identified a small number of players he feels can help the Blues to success in Europe and on the domestic stage this season.
And following discussions with executive chairman Garry Cook, Hughes believes Ben Haim can strengthen his defence.
The Israeli was in the north-west for talks today and Hughes is hoping negotiations can be successfully concluded.
"We have made a bid," said the former Blackburn manager.
"Discussions are taking place and hopefully that will be among a number of deals that we conclude before the transfer deadline."
Even if Ben Haim sealed a return to the north-west, the former Bolton man would not come into contention for Thursday's Uefa Cup qualifier with Faroe Island minnows EB/Streymur.
Defender Javier Garrido and striker Rolando Bianchi have still to get over minor niggles, while long-term absentee Valeri Bojinov is pencilled in to face Stockport on Saturday.
With new signing Jo on Olympic duty with Brazil and Benjani also on the injured list, youngsters Ched Evans and Daniel Sturridge will come into contention for the match which City are ahead 2-0 after the first leg.
Wigan have completed the signing of Middlesbrough midfielder Lee Cattermole.
The England Under-21 international has penned a three-year deal at the JJB Stadium.
Wigan boss Steve Bruce told the club's official website: "He's got everything going for him, he's young, he's courageous, he's a tireless worker and I think he can have a great career in football, hopefully for this club.
"He only turned 20 in April, and already he has played nearly 70 games in the Premier League, as well as in the Uefa Cup. That's exceptional. He can be a great leader of the future.
"I really think the sky's the limit with Lee. If he dedicates himself to the sport as he clearly has done up until now, and he keeps learning, there's no reason why he can't progress to full international honours. I am absolutely thrilled we've managed to get him."
Cattermole admitted it was hard to leaving Teesside, but is relishing the "new challenge" he has at Wigan.
