Uefa Cup round-up: Paul Robinson was back in goal as Tottenham reached the last 16 of the Uefa Cup - a 1-1 draw earning a 3-2 aggregate win at White Hart Lane - putting himself in the frame for Wembley this weekend.

Robinson was dropped last month and missed 10 games, losing his England place in the process, but was granted a return after Radek Cerny's blunder allowed Slavia Prague back in this tie a week ago.

It meant Robinson and Spurs only had a slender 2-1 lead to protect from Prague. The north London side extended their advantage when Jamie O'Hara netted early on but Matej Krajcik's goal - which left Robinson with no chance - meant a nervous second half.

Battling Bolton progressed after holding Spanish giants Atletico Madrid to a goalless draw. Leading 1-0 from the first leg at the Reebok Stadium, Wanderers got the draw they needed after producing a perfect defensive display.

Atletico created most of the goalscoring opportunities, but they could find no way through, with Luis Garcia blazing over one of their best chances in the first half.

And Everton will play Fiorentina in the next round, a 6-1 rout of Brann giving the Merseyside club an 8-1 aggregate
success.
