St Patrick's Athletic 2 Derry City 1: St Patrick's Athletic secured their second win in the space of four days with a deserved victory at home to Derry City. Goals from Keith Fahey and Mark Quigley guaranteed the club a second placed finish in the Premier Division table.
Fahey opened the scoring on 39 minutes, firing into the bottom corner after being collecting a short Alan Kirby corner, but had to wait until eight minutes from time for Quigley to double the advantage.
Derry's Mark Farren pulled one back from close range deep into injury time but it was too little too late for the FAI Cup finalists.
