Soccer:Former Arsenal and Republic of Ireland Under 21 goalkeeper Graham Stack has been arrested over an alleged fight in a London nightclub. The 30 year old, who now plays with Hibernian in the Scottish Premier League was arrested on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm after a man in his 20s was treated in hospital.
It is understood the London-born player was arrested outside a nightclub in Kingly Street at around 2.30am on Sunday after a fight broke out inside the venue. He was questioned at a central London police station and bailed pending further inquiries.
A London Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “A 30-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of ABH and taken into custody at a central police station. He was bailed pending further inquiries, returning in mid-January 2012.
“A man in his 20s suffering from facial injuries was taken to hospital and subsequently discharged.” Hibs said that they would not be issuing a statement on the issue.
