Graham Stack, the former Republic of Ireland under-21 goalkeeper, has joined Championship side Wolves on a month's loan from Reading.
Stack only returned to the Madejski Stadium in the summer following an extended loan spell at Leeds and will provide back up cover to Wayne Hennessey after Matt Murray was ruled out for up to six months with a knee ligament injury.
Stack said: "Wolves is a fantastic club with loads of potential and this is a big season for them."
Wolves manager Mick McCarthy said: "Graham's an experienced keeper who I had no hesitation in taking.
"He lost his slot at Reading through injury but he doesn't want to just sit there and pick up his money, he wants a chance and he's going to come here and compete for a place in the team. I like that.
"He'll be on the bench on Saturday."
