Anthony Stokes believes Falkirk's style of play has allowed him to flourish in the SPL. The striker has taken Scottish football by storm, netting 13 goals since arriving from Arsenal on loan at the end of August.
The 18-year-old Republic of Ireland B international, who tops the SPL goal charts on 11, is keen to extend his stay past December 31st but it will be Gunners manager Arsene Wenger who makes that decision - perhaps even this week.
Bairns fans are desperate for Stokes to remain at the Falkirk Stadium, despite a host of clubs, including Celtic and Sunderland, tracking his progress.
Whatever his next career move, Stokes has loved life under John Hughes thanks to the club's policy of playing free-flowing attacking football.
He said: "The move has definitely gone better than I thought. I didn't realise before that the way Falkirk play suits me so much, because we play to attack.
"The amount of chances that have been created for me has been brilliant and hopefully it can keep going. The level of chances we create means sometimes I get five or six opportunities in front of goal and I've managed to take one or two. It looks good for me but a lot is due to the team.
"I'd sell Alan Gow a few goals if I could, he can't buy one at the moment. He's been brilliant, our best player in so many games, and I think he has set up half my goals.
"Russell Latapy has been brilliant as well. He's a good lad too, great to get on with, so he's helped me a lot."
Stokes admits he would love to stay on with Hughes' men past January to have the chance of playing in the club's CIS Insurance Cup semi-final.
Falkirk face Kilmarnock at Fir Park on January 30th and Stokes would relish the chance of guiding the Bairns to a showpiece March final at Hampden. He added: "The semi-final is a huge fixture and I'd love to be involved in it.
"I'm doing well for myself and the team had a great result to beat Rangers on Sunday so hopefully we can keep that up.
"I want to keep scoring and help Falkirk get a few more points on the board. I also want to stay the top scorer in the league as long as I'm here, which is something I didn't think of when I first came up."
