The sides couldn’t be separated as the game reached half-time scoreless. However the Rovers faithful didn’t have long to wait before celebrating a fine team effort and Twigg’s strike, which out turned out to be the winner.

The Rovers striker struck seven minutes into the second half and was a result of some neat inter-play. Twigg fired home from the edge of the area to give the Pat’s goalkeeper no chance.
