Derry City v UCD: Despite winning in the Brandywell earlier this season, and then holding Derry to a draw in Dublin, Tony McDonnell is not underestimating the considerable task his UCD side faces tonight.

The captain points out that league win in April came at a time when  Derry - the League Cup holders - were misfiring for former manager Pat  Fenlon.

"This year we have done well against Derry but historically the Brandywell is a very difficult place for us to go.  In fact, this is the first year in a long time that I can remember winning up there.

"It was a shocker for us," he said of the 4-2 home defeat.

Team-mates Alan Mahon and Ronan Finn could return having missed that game through injury.

Eddie McCallion returns from suspension for John Robertson's side but Sean Hargan (ankle) remains sidelined. Ciaran Martyn and Pat McCourt could also feature having missed the recent win over Bray.

Securing a place in the final against Bohemians is certainly UCD's aim tonight although the tie is also a dress rehearsal for their FAI Cup showdown with Derry next month after the two were paired in last night's quarter-final draw.
