Uefa Cup Round-up:  Tottenham edged towards the last-16 of the UEFA Cup with a 2-1 victory over Slavia Prague but Radek Cerny handed his former club a lifeline with a second-half blunder in the first-leg clash.

Dimitar Berbatov and Robbie Keane, who now have 36 goals between them this season, struck in the first half at the Strahov Stadium to provide a cushion for Juande Ramos' side as they prepare for the Carling Cup final.

In sub-zero temperatures in the Czech Republic capital, Spurs were cruising until Cerny dropped the ball under his crossbar and David Strihavka finished.

Elsewhere Bolton won the first leg encounter 1-0 against Atletico Madrid with El-Hadj Diouf getting on the scoresheet.

Aberdeen were forced to settle for a 2-2 draw against Bayern Munich after the German giants twice hauled the Dons level in their UEFA Cup tie.

England Under-19 team-mates Josh Walker and Sone Aluko both gave Aberdeen the lead in the first half of the first leg of their last 32 clash with Miroslav Klose replying during sustained pressure in between.

But Hamit Altintop levelled, following up after his penalty was saved, after Spanish referee Eduardo Iturralde Gonzalez had penalised Alan Maybury for handball despite previously ignoring two similar Aberdeen appeals.

The decision deprived the Dons of the chance to hold on for another win over Bayern, who lost 3-2 at Pittodrie during the home side's triumphant European Cup Winners' Cup campaign in 1983.

Aberdeen manager Jimmy Calderwood appreciated the way Bayern improved in the second half, but he was full of praise for his own side's display.

"It was a wonderful performance in the first half, the whole game really," Calderwood said.

"They upped the tempo a little bit in the second half, bringing the boy (Philip) Lahm on, he caused us problems."

The disappointment for Calderwood was that Bayern got two away goals, which in the case of a low-scoring draw next week could be decisive.

"We wanted to keep a clean sheet," he said.

"They are a quality team. We were disappointed with their goals. We've had to work hard. We got two wonderful goals to get ours."
