Cristiano Ronaldo has been named Barclays Player of the Month for January, with his Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson being handed the manager's accolade for the 20th time.
The Portugal winger scored six goals in the Barclays Premier League last month including his first league hat-trick and hit a stunning free-kick against Portsmouth.
It has taken him to the top of the league scoring charts with 19 goals so far this season and earned him his third award.
Ferguson earned his latest prize by leading the Red Devils to victory in all four league games without conceding a goal.
