Valencia coach Quique Sanchez Flores still wants to sign Cristiano Ronaldo despite Manchester United's bid to fend off his suitors.
The Old Trafford club issued a statement yesterday insisting they "will not listen to any offers" after the Portugal international had been linked with a move to Barcelona and Real Madrid.
But Sanchez Flores still harbours hopes of luring the 21-year-old winger to the Mestalla.
"His arrival would bring great happiness to everyone," said Sanchez Flores. "He is a very young player that is capable of doing important things. There should be more players with his quality in the market."
