Soccer: Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas is eager for his side to return to winning ways "immediately" against Bayer Leverkusen Champions League tomorrow night.

Villas-Boas has found his own future questioned after losing three of their last four Premier League games to leave them trailing league leaders Manchester City by 12 points.

Chelsea travel to Germany to take on Leverkusen tomorrow and Villas-Boas accepts it is vital they record a win as soon as possible to get out of their slump in form.

"The most important thing is finding winning ways straightaway - if possible against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League. That is a massive game," admitted Villas-Boas. "Then we have three games in the Premier League where we must try to get nine points. The challenge is to have the belief and strength to fight for those nine points.

"But if we get nine points, it would put us in a different perspective. It is not bright for us but we have to find that belief."

Despite all the gloom surrounding Stamford Bridge, Villas-Boas insists he has belief in the players to turn things around.

"It looks bad for us at this moment," added Villas-Boas. "It has not been the brightest of starts - the worst for quite some time - but we have to have belief and believe in the work to get back to winning ways. The players have immense talent and I believe in them."
