Shamrock Rovers’ Europa Conference League playoff against Estonian champions Flora Tallinn will be shown on Virgin Media and RTÉ.

Rovers, the last Irish club in Europe, have agreed broadcast rights for the first leg, this Thursday at 5pm, to be live on Virgin Media Two with RTÉ2 showing the second leg on August 26th at Tallaght stadium, where 3,500 tickets are expected to go on sale for the 8,000 capacity ground.

“Whilst preparations were being put in place to offer a live stream of the games on club channel SRFC TV,” said a Rovers statement, “the club is delighted that both games will now be available to the maximum potential viewership. We are delighted to have both Virgin Media Television and RTÉ TV partner with us in Europe.”

If Rovers overcome Flora, Stephen Bradley’s team will enter the group stages of Uefa’s inaugural third tier competition and bank a guaranteed €2.94 million.
