Two out of three is not bad at all, especially when it stands for the success rate of Sweden's Annika Sorenstam in LPGA tournaments this season.

The two-time reigning US Open champion fired a one-over par 73 at Kapolei on Saturday, but still won her second title in three 1997 events, taking a one-stroke victory over Meg Mallon to win the $650,000 LPGA Hawaiian Open.

"I'm amazed," Sorenstam said.

I have the right frame of mind. I hope this momentum continues."

Sorenstam, who also won the season-opening Tournament of Champions, became the fastest LPGA multiple winner since Beth Daniel won two of the first five 1990 events.
