The remaining places on the Ireland Pitch and Putt Union team to play Catalunya in Spain next year have been finalised and the four wild card places will go to John Cahill (Fermoy), David Hayden (Lucan), Ray Murphy (Templebreedy) and Colin Somers (Royal Meath). The four will join the automatic selections from the recent international trial process - William Buckley jnr (Erry), Eddie Carey (Athgarvan), Sean Downes (Stackallen), Mark Millar (Cement), Chris Scannell (Collins) and John Walsh (Collins).

The match will be played on April 5th and 6th next year at a venue to be announced (most likely Sant Cebria or Vallromanes) with five fourballs and five foursomes on the first day and 10 singles on the second day.
