Despite strong early season showings from teams like Derry City, Galway United and Longford Town, players from Dublin clubs dominate the squad named by Dermot Keely yesterday for next month's representative match against the Irish League at Terryland Park.

Current leaders Shelbourne contribute six of the 18-strong panel, with Bohemians chipping in four, Shamrock Rovers two and St Patrick's Athletic one. UCD, Bray Wanderers, Derry, Galway and Cork each have one representative in the squad for the game which is scheduled for Wednesday November 1st.

Omitted from Don Givens' international under-21 side due to his disciplinary problems, Shelbourne striker Richie Foran is one of those to be called into an inter-league panel for the first time. Glen Crowe is another to be recognised for his strong start to the new campaign.

Amongst the more familiar faces in Galway will be Peter Hutton of Derry, Shelbourne's Pat Fenlon and Pat Morley of Cork City.
