St Flannan's of Ennis knocked holders Tralee CBS out of this year's Corn Ui Mhuire at Glin yesterday.
Tralee took an early lead with points from Pat McCarthy and Colin Magnier, but they fell behind in the eighth minute when poor defending allowed Brian Curtin to slip the ball into the Tralee net.
St Flannan's led 1-3 to 0-5 at the break, and the game was ended as a contest in the opening 10 minutes of the second half when Ger Lyons and Dara Shannon added early points before Shannon unleashed a drive into the top corner from over 20 yards.
