KERRY GREAT Séamus Moynihan has admitted that Tommy Walsh's almost certain defection to Australian Rules Football next year would be a massive blow to the Kingdom.
Officials from the St Kilda club in Melbourne have confirmed they will be closely monitoring 19-year-old Walsh next year and it is highly likely he will be named in their rookie list for the 2010 season.
St Kilda recruiting manager John Peake said the club seriously considered taking Walsh for next season and will look to snap him up after the 2009 campaign.
"While Tommy and David Moran have been scouted, you'd want to be a blind man not to pick those guys," said Moynihan. "They are big, physical players with natural talent who would be a massive loss if they go."
