CBC Cork  5 St Munchin's College  7A superbly-taken try by St Munchin's winger Mike Goggin five minutes from time knocked holders and favourites CBC out of the Munster Schools' Junior Cup at Musgrave Park yesterday.

Goggin's try was converted by hooker Ger Slattery for a 7-0 lead with just five minutes remaining. But CBC refused to surrender their title without a fight and a late try by Gavin Blower brought them back into the game, but Munchin's held on to reach the semi-finals.
