Italy v Argentina:ITALY HAVE made three changes for today's match against Argentina in Turin following the narrow, 10-point defeat by Australia last weekend.

Fabio Ongaro and Matias Aguero replace Leonardo Ghiraldini and Salvatore Perugini at hooker and loosehead prop.

Matteo Pratichetti comes in for the injured Gonzalo Canale at centre.

Argentina have made three changes, with Federico Martin Aramburu and Rafael Carballo starting on the wings and Esteban Lozada chosen at lock.

Aramburu and Carballo replace Francisco Leonelli and Horacio Agulla as the Pumas seek to add more spark to their backline following last weekend's 12-6 defeat to France.

The Pumas' renowned pack has been bolstered further with Rimas Alvarez Kairelis moving from secondrow to flanker and Sale's Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe at number eight.

Italy coach Nick Mallett has selected three frontrow players on the bench in what he predicts will be a bruising encounter. All the props and both hookers called up for this Test will be on the pitch or on the bench. Veteran Sicilian Andrea Lo Cicero will join Ghiraldini and Perugini on the bench, as Mallett believes having extra frontrow players in reserve is a "necessity".

Mallett swapped his frontrow early in the second half their 30-20 defeat by the Wallabies and the move paved the way for an Azzurri revival with the scores tied at 20-20 with 10 minutes remaining.

Andrea Marcato continues at outhalf and will be partnered by Pablo Canavosio, one of six Argentina-born players in Italy's 22-man squad, who enjoyed mixed fortunes against Australia.
