Ulster MFC/Derry 1-10 Antrim 0-3:Derry will play Monaghan in the semi-finals of the Ulster minor football championship following a comfortable win over Antrim at Casement Park yesterday.

Antrim managed just three scores over the 60 minutes and trailed by 0-5 to 0-1 at the break. Derry were sharper all over the park and led by 0-3 to no score after nine minutes.

Derry failed to score for a further 17 minutes but James Kielt added his third point of the day to stop the rot.

The game was over as a contest in the 44th minute when Lee Moore converted a penalty after Kielt was fouled by Antrim goalkeeper Patrick Magee. Daryll McAlernon then added two consolation points for Antrim.
