Munster Cup SH/ Waterford 5-14 IT Tralee 2-5: A strong Justin McCarthy Waterford side easily overcame Tralee IT in Carrick-on-Suir last night.

Waterford will meet Limerick IT in Sunday's semi-final in Dungarvan.

Corner forward Paddy Raftice bundled home a Tralee goal in the 10th minute following a mistake by the goalkeeper.

A brilliant Eoin Kelly goal restored Waterford's advantage but the students had a slice of fortune in the 23rd minute when a ball from Raftice that looked to be going over the bar deceived everybody to drop into the net.

Goals by corner forwards Walsh and Casey in the 22nd and 24th minutes gave the home team a commanding 3-6 to 2-2 half-time lead.
