Declan Gillespie introduced a winning newcomer in the shape of 14 to 1 chance Suddenly which carried the colours of Chryss O'Reilly to a two-length victory in the hands of Declan McDonogh in the seven furlong Owenstown Stud F.F. Tuthill EBF Race at a rain-soaked Naas last evening. Liam Browne completed a double sparked off with To The Skies and Stephen Craine which held off the late surge off Saxophone and Kevin Manning by the shortest of short heads.

Shane Crawford had an evening to remember when he helped Browne to the second leg of his brace aboard Sharp Scotch in the Sherlockstown Handicap. Crawford coaxed his charge home ahead of Kaldan Khan.

Stephen Craine captured the riding honours for the evening when he went on to complete a double via the Kevin Prendergast-trained Attractive Crown.
