Team Check

Tipperary SH

After courting a potential injury crisis through the weekend, Tipperary welcome Declan Ryan and Ger Maguire back from injury and also declare Paul Ormonde fit to start Sunday's National Hurling League final against Galway.

Ryan cried off on the eleventh hour of Tipperary's semi-final against Limerick and the mercurial John Leahy stepped in to play yet another starring role. Leahy, however, again returns to the substitutes' bench along with half back Noel Morris, who also started the semi-final.

Andy Moloney is still recuperating from the knock he picked up in that game, so Brian O'Meara comes in to partner John Carroll at centrefield. Liam Cahill is nursing a shoulder strain but is expected to take his place among the substitutes if he passes a fitness test later in the week.

Fermanagh SF

Tom Brewster remains sidelined as Fermanagh prepare for their Ulster championship game against Monaghan on Sunday. The Enniskillen attacker has been hampered with injury in the latter stages of the league.

The team shows five changes to that which lined out in Fermanagh's last championship outing, against Tyrone last summer. Dermot Feely, a late-comer to the panel, makes his debut in goal after Paul Maguire declared himself unavailable due to exams. Devenish defender Barry Carty also gets his championship start at corner back while Justin Gilheaney, who first appeared for Fermanagh in 1995, returns at half back. Rory Gallagher is back after missing last year's championship through injury and Ciaran Donnelly comes in at half forward.

Monaghan SF

Seven players make their senior football debut for Monaghan on Sunday. Colm Flanagan, Peter Coyle and Gary McQuaid take up defensive roles, Ryan Treacy lines out in midfield, and 18-year-old Dick Clerkin starts at full forward with former under-21 player Ciaran Tavey at corner forward.

Tyrone Under-21F

Tyrone have made one change for Saturday's All-Ireland under-21 football final against Limerick at Mullingar. Declan McCrossan, who missed much of the Ulster campaign because of a fractured cheekbone, returns to the defence with Adrian Ball losing out. A vacancy has been left at full forward, due to an injury which is threatening Richard Thornton's participation.
