The Leinster champions have made three changes from the team that beat Dublin last month. Back comes captain Willie O'Connor, midfielder Andy Comerford and centre forward John Power. The men to lose out are Sean Meally, Paddy Mullally and Eddie Brennan

There are just two definite changes from the team that beat New York last month. The most significant sees the return of Michael Donnellan to the half forward line in place of the injured Ja Fallon. Gary Fahy also returns to the full back spot instead of John Killeen, although there are also two vacancies left in the defence. It is hoped that Sean Og de Paor will be recovered from his leg muscle injury to take the left wing back position while the corner back spot, filled by Richie Fahy the last day, also awaits confirmation. John Divilly may yet be fit to play.
Galway (SF v Sligo): M McNamara; T Meehan, G Fahy, AN Other; D Meehan, R Silke, AN Other; S O'Domhnaill, J Bergin; P Clancy, M Donnellan, T Joyce; D Savage, P Joyce, N Finnegan.
