Team Check

Dublin SF

Martin Cahill has been passed fit to regain his place as corner back for Sunday's fourth-round qualifier against Sligo at Croke Park. Cahill suffered concussion early in last Sunday's Leinster final loss to Meath and was replaced by Shane Ryan, but he has sufficiently recovered in the interim while Ryan will once again start on the bench.

It means that the team is unchanged from that which was selected against Meath. Jonathan Magee switched to wing back the last day in a pre-match move, but once again has been named in his familiar position at centre back, with Peadar Andrews again on the left wing.

It also means that Davy Byrne keeps his place between the posts despite the blunder that led to Meath's first goal.

Team manager Peter Ford has made just one change in his side to face Dublin.

The rest of the team remains unchanged, as Paul Taylor still awaits full recovery before returning to the starting line-up.

Westmeath SF

Manager Luke Dempsey is still hopeful that his key forward, Des Dolan, will be fit to start in tomorrow's fourth-round qualifier against Mayo. Dolan has been suffering with an ankle injury since a third win over Louth, but his place at corner forward h as been left vacant until closer to throw-in.

As expected, Derek Heavin was ruled out through illness and his place at wing back goes to Damien Healy, who actually appeared as a substitute the last day.

Healy also started in their memorable Division Two league win but was sent off against Wexford and was subsequently out with a month's suspension.

There is a second vacancy left at midfield in the hope that David O'Shaughnessy can recover from his less troublesome ankle injury. Opponents Mayo will name their side later today.

Eamon Coleman has made the minimum of changes to his team to face Ulster counterparts Cavan on Sunday compared to that which beat Laois in the third round.

Coleman has also decided on a vacant spot at right wing forward.

There are two vacancies in the team to face Derry at Clones on Sunday. Midfielder Barry McCrudden and wing forward John Tierney are both carrying injuries picked up in the county championship last weekend but manager Val Andrews is hopeful they will start.

There is one definite change in that Gerry Sheridan, who has been injured, is back in his corner back position and takes over from Rory Donoghue.
