National League Premier Division/ Drogheda United 0 Cork City 0: Once more a clash between these two sides produced sendings off as both finished with 10 men at the end of a disappointing encounter.
Drogheda will be the happier of the two as they had to cope with the loss of Stephen Bradley from the 13th minute when the midfielder was sent off for a second yellow card following a clash with Alan Bennett.
Still Drogheda regrouped and restricted the league champions to a handful of chances for the remainder of the match.
Right on full-time referee Hanney sent off Roy O'Donovan for a second bookable offence.
Early on Drogheda had the first chance when Brian Shelley's goal-bound cross was tipped to safety by City goalkeeper Michael Devine. John O'Flynn had a couple of shots on target for the visitors but Drogheda defended ably during the second half.
