Decisions, decisions

Ahead of their final Champions Cup pool game away to London Wasps at the weekend, where a win would guarantee safe passage into the knock outs, Leinster have been boosted by the news both Cian Healy and Sean O’Brien are in contention to make their comebacks from injury.

But, there's a snag. As it stands, neither player is eligible to play in Europe, and manager Guy Easterby has until midday today to deregister a current player and then register one of Healy or O'Brien in their stead if they are deemed fit to play. Both O'Brien and Healy have had extensive spells on the sidelines so deciding whether to bring either back is far from a straightforward choice.

McGregor gets title shot

As soon as he had won his bout against Denis Siver on Sunday night, Conor McGregor was hurdling the cage wall to call out current featherweight world champion Jose Aldo.

The theatrics worked, with UFC president Dana White confirming McGregor will get a title shot in May, although the fight will take place in Las Vegas and not Croke Park.
