Ireland Under-21 - 25 Scottish Under-21 - 18:Ireland came from behind scoring three tries to earn a well-merited victory over Scotland at Thomond Park last night.

Ireland got off to a slow start and were 9-3 behind at half-time after outhalf Neil Stenhouse kicked three penalties for the visitors against one for Ireland by Conrad O'Sullivan.

However, Ireland stepped up a gear in the second half and completely dominated the game despite Stenhouse landing three more penalties for Scotland.

The visiting side had no answer for the powerful running of the Irish who had tries by Brian O'Riordan, Gavin Duffy and Conor McPhillips. Two of the tries were converted by substitute Eoghan Hickey, who also landed a penalty.
