DENMARK V ISRAEL: Three first-half goals secured Denmark a convincing 3-1 win over Israel in Copenhagen in a friendly which was overshadowed by street clashes between Danish police and anti-Israel protesters.

Danish police said they had detained around 150 anti-Israel demonstrators after clashes with 1,800 protesters.

A long-range goal by captain Jan Heintze in the fourth minute gave Denmark the best possible start. Jon Dahl Tomasson grabbed the second just 10 minutes later before PSV Eindhoven forward Dennis Rommedahl pounced at a corner for the third goal in the 37th minute. Israel grabbed a last-minute penalty from Avi Nimny.

SCOTAND v NIGERIA: Two goals from Julius Aghahowa saw Nigeria come from behind to beat Scotland 2-1 in Aberdeen.
