Laois SHC Semi-finals: Tinnahinch will contest their third county senior final in six years thanks to their narrow victory - 2-12 to 1-12 - over neighbours Camross at Portlaoise yesterday.
This was Tinnahinch's fourth knockout victory over the 1996 champions in as many meetings.
Camross led 1-6 to 0-6 at the interval thanks to a goal by Zane Keenan after 25 minutes.
Tinnahinch went ahead after the break with a goal from a free by James Young. The sides were still level with five minutes left but Richie McEvoy grabbed Tinnahinch's second goal and a James Young point put four between the sides before Keenan posted the last point of the game.
In the other semi-final, The Harps and Rathdowney/Errill scored 1-10 apiece and must do it all again next Saturday at 4pm.
Rathdowney took the lead with a goal from John Purcell nine minutes after the break, and a point from Liam Tynan put four points between the sides with 15 minutes left. Harps hit back with two from Tommy Kenna but Rathdowney regained their three-point advantage going into injury time.
Harps won a close-in free which was saved, but when the Rathdowney defence failed to clear the danger, John Brophy ran in to crash the ball to the net for the equaliser.
