Tipperary 1-20 Limerick IT 2-12:Tipperary booked their place in a second successive final following victory over LIT Technology at Dolla yesterday.
After an even first 10 minutes, Tipperary went on to score 11 points without reply, with John O’Dwyer leading the way, scoring five points as the home side led by 10 points at the break, having had the benefit of the strong wind. Tipp led by five points with three minutes to go when Gary Guilfoyle goaled but sub Michael Heffernan eased any possibility of a shock a minute later to set up a final with Clare next weekend.
